Whose contribution, From Non-Religion to Religion, opens with the following ineptitude: “I think that the renewal of Spiritualism is mainly due to a real increase in our knowledge of psychical facts.” This phrase could only have been written by one wholly ignorant of mystical theology, and, it would seem, of historical Christianity.
