‘Colonel Ross’ letters.’ While this sheet is passing through the press, a letter has been received by the Officer Commanding the 3rd Battalion, informing him that a Medal will be granted for this action: a tardy recognition of the services of the Battalion, more than twelve years after the occurrence.
