Note 42 — BOOK X.
William Robson translation
Alberic, Rigord, Otho of St. Blaise, James of Vitri, the manuscript chronicle Autore Radulfo Coggehalensi, the Chronicle of Brompton, and Marin Sanul, have left particulars of the life of Foulques. The Ecclesiastical History of Fleury, vol. xvi., has collected all the materials scattered about in the old chronicles. The Abbé Lebeuf, in his History of Paris, quotes a Life of Foulques, 1 vol. in 12mo. Paris, 1620, which we have in vain endeavoured to procure.
