Note 721 — Chapter VI · COSMOGONY, COSMOLOGY, AND COSMOGRAPHY

Reading edition

De lineis angulis, etc., Baur’s edit., p. 64. Roger Bacon’s views on the influence of pyramidal rays as set forth in Opus majus (Bridges’ edit., vol. i, 1897, pp. 117–143) are discussed in Werner, Kosm. Roger Baco, 1879, pp. 597–600. Bacon’s indebtedness to Grosseteste, however, does not seem to be sufficiently emphasized by Werner. See above, pp. 179–180 and p. 408, note 97.
