Note Note 25 — § 5 EINSTEIN'S THEORY OF GRAVITATION

Henry L. (Henry Leopold) Brose translation

(p. 48). The expression "acceleration-transformation" means that the equations giving the transformation from the variables , , , to the system of variables , , , , which is the basis of our discussion, can be regarded as giving the relations between two systems of reference which are moving with an accelerated motion relatively to one another. The nature of the state of motion of two systems of reference relative to one another finds its expression in the analytical form of the equations of transformation of their co-ordinates.
