The Book of the Sword

Note 217 — Chapter IV · THE PROTO-CHALCITIC OR COPPER AGE OF WEAPONS.

Reading edition

Doubtless copied from Old-World articles. On the west side of Palenque the Sword is distinctly Egyptian (Stephens, Yucatan). I have attempted to show how easily castaway mariners could be swept by currents from Europe, Asia, Africa, and America. See ‘Ostreiras of the Brazil’ in Anthropologia, No. 1, October 1873.
