This officer, aided by others, was charged with having organized an attempt to overthrow the Yugoslav National Council soon after its constitution in the autumn of 1918. The day of the counter-revolution was to be November 25, according to the Hrvatska Riječ of November 23. The General and others were arrested, but as he was able to prove his innocence he was liberated.
