The following helminths also have been stated in the literature to pass their intermediate stages in cockroaches: Hymenolepis diminuta (Rudolphi, 1819) [Blanchard (1891)]; Inermicapsifer madagascariensis (Davaine in Grenet, 1870) [Baer (1956)]; Spirocerca sanguinolenta (Rudolphi, 1819) [Seurat (1913)]. These doubtful records are discussed in Roth and Willis (1957a).
