A letter has survived in the handwriting of Vaḥíd, addressed to Ḥájí Mírzá Siyyid Muḥammad, the uncle of the Báb. Therein Vaḥíd presents proof to convince him of the truth of the claim of his Nephew. See Plate facing p. 81 for an example of Vaḥíd's handwriting.
