According to the account of the captain of the Peppercorn (Egerton MS. 2100) this was on 30th December. The Peppercorn was launched on 1st January, 'and the great ship the Trade's Increase ... a little removed, but not launched. The 2nd day Tuesday the Trade's Increase was half her length removed but not launched for the dockhead was too narrow for her passage. The 3rd day ... she was launched.'
