Dr. Jameson has found the following species of Rubus in the valley of Quito: macrocarpus, stipularis, glabratus, compactus, glaucus, rosæflorus, loxensis, urticæfolius, floribundus, and nubigenus. The common strawberry, Fragaria vesca, grows in the valley, as also the Chilensis.
