One other observation by Mr Man may be mentioned. He says, “When they see a dark cloud approaching at a time when rain would prove very inconvenient, as when hunting, travelling, etc., they advise Puluga to divert its course by shouting ‘Wara-J̌obo kopke, kopke, kopke’ (Wara-J̌obo will bite, bite, bite (you)). If in spite of this a shower falls they imagine that Puluga is undeterred by their warning17.”
