The location of Kadesh-barnea is one of the great questions of the Bible geography. Robinson places it at ´Ain el-Weibeh, north-west of Petra. Rowlands, and lately Trumbull, locates it at Ain Gadis, forty-five miles south of Beersheba. I think the latter is the true place, though the authorities are not agreed.
