Expeditions into the Valley of the Amazons, 1539, 1540, 1639. Translated and edited by Clements R. Markham; London, Hakluyt Society, 1859, XXIV. The French translation was published in Paris, 1682. In 1698 an English translation from the French was published in London, which has been superceded by Markham’s translation.
