Chinesol (C9H6NKSO4), potassium oxyquinol in sulphonate, is a proprietary disinfectant and deodoriser. After some little experience of it in ointments and suppositories, I believe it deodorises these—an important advantage. But further investigation is necessary.—E.A.R.
