Note 427 — ROISTER DOISTER BY NICHOLAS UDALL
Reading edition
Cf. the first scene in Plaut. Miles. Instead of the blue spider, etc., Thersites kills Cotswold Lions, fights against a snail, as Horribilicribrifax against a cat, and Sir Thopas (in Endymion) against the 'monster' Ovis.
