Reading edition
General Acts of Massachusetts, 1918, pp. 294-295; Acts, 1920, ch. 411, p. 418. General Statutes of Connecticut, 1918, ch. 45, sec. 852, Vol. I, p. 312. In 1903, Connecticut was a pioneer in this form of law, which was slightly changed in 1915. At this time it was prescribed that normal schools and teacher training schools should give instruction concerning methods of teaching citizenship, including the knowledge of the form of the national and local governments. Connecticut left her law of 1915 unchanged in her General Statutes of 1918.
