Laws of Vermont, 1872, no. 14, sec. 1, p. 54. “Hall’s Geography and History of Vermont now in use by the authority of law, in the schools of Vermont, or such revised editions of the same as may be issued, shall be continued as a textbook for the term of five years from the first day of November, A.D., 1873.” Approved November 26, 1872.
