Note 106 — Chapter I · THE DAY.

F. J. Fielden translation

Wegener, pp. 146 ff.; Ellis, Pol. Res.³, I, 89. The former quotes the latter from the first edition, but Ellis l. c. leaves out the translation of the concrete terms for the times later than noon, and fills up the period from 7 a. m. to 6 p. m. with modern terms, e. g. ‘about 7’, ‘8 a. m.’ etc.
