La 1re audition des Béatitudes a été donnée, grâce à l'initiative de M. Ed. Colonne, aux concerts du Châtelet, le 19 mars 1893. Le succès a été considérable. Les interprètes étaient Mlles Pregi, de Nocé, Tarquini d'or, MM. Auguez, Fournets, Warmbrodt, Ballard, Grimaud et Villa.
