The eldest, Anne Bethia, married 21st September, 1809, Lieut.-General Sir Jasper Nicholls, K.C.B. (Commander-in-Chief at Madras and afterwards Commander-in-Chief in India), and had eight daughters and one son. Lady Nicholls died at Rome in 1844. Sophia Lovell married 9th June, 1814, the Rev. James Duke Coleridge, D.C.L., eldest son of Colonel Coleridge, of Heath’s Court, Ottery St. Mary’s, Devon, and had two daughters. Mrs. Coleridge died at Torquay in 1874.
