Byrd’s History of the Dividing Line, with his Journey to the Land of Eden, and A Progress to the Mines, remained in MS. for more than a century. They were published at Petersburg in 1841, under the title of Westover Manuscripts. A better edition, edited by T. H. Wynne, was published in 1866 under the title of Byrd Manuscripts.
