Note 45 — THE EARLIEST HISTORY.
Havilland Le Mesurier Chepmell translation
The Fir-Bolgs belong to the Bardic history of Ireland, which mentions them as having formed the third immigration in Ireland. The Scots found them in Ireland ruled by kings. To them the construction of the Cyclopian walls in Ireland is attributed.—Note of the German Editor.
