Gooch’s “Researches” on the same. Walsh in his Appeal (part i. sect. 5) shows the benefits reaped by Great Britain from the American trade, making use of an essay on the subject by Sir William Keith (1728) which will be found in Burk’s Virginia (vol. ii. ch. 2).
