Constance Garnett translation
This lady was the wife of the Count F. A. Pulszky, who was a friend of Kossuth and associated with him in the efforts to throw off the yoke of the Austrian Government. He wrote several books describing his adventures, and his wife wrote her memoirs, known in English as Memoirs of an Hungarian Lady (published in London, 1850), and other books, such as Tales and Traditions of Hungary (1851).
