‘Statements respecting the East India College, with an appeal to facts in refutation of the charges lately brought against it in the Court of Proprietors’ (1817). Cf. his ‘Letter to Lord Grenville, occasioned by some observations of his Lordship on the E. India Co.’s establishment for the education of their Civil servants’ (1813). Cf. Edin. Rev., Dec. 1816. The Letter to Lord Grenville (1813) states the case a little less fully; but both pamphlets contain substantially the same arguments.
