Note 417 — Chapter II
Robert Harrison translation
I Capitoli della Compagnia del Broncone, pubblicati per cura di Giuseppe Palagi (Flor. 1872). [Cf. I. del Lungo in the Arch. stor. Ital., s. iii. vol. xvii. p. 147 et seq.] Lorenzo the younger was the head of the Compagnia del Broncone, and Giuliano that of the Compagnia del Diamante. There are still to be seen in Florence, in the Church of St. Ambrogio, in the Canto alia Mela, and the Canto di Monteloro, some inscribed tablets recalling the Potenze; but they are of rather late date.
