The paper is only to be found in two Italian histories, Pollini’s Istoria Ecclesiastica della Rivoluzione d’Inghilterra and Raviglio Rosso’s account of the events following upon Edward’s death, stated to be partly drawn from the despatches of Bodoaro. The discrepancies here and there in the translation point to both having had access to an English version.
