Reading edition
The genera, which are unduly multiplied in the Phytographia, are here reduced to the standard adopted in the Spicilegium. The species are, unfortunately, also inordinately multiplied in the former work, which seriously vitiates the table: this, however, it is impossible to set right. On the other hand, some of the Canarian genera have been largely added to by later explorers.
