Schweizer, Alexander (1808-1888). A theologian and preacher who studied in Zürich and Berlin. He wrote his Autobiography which was published in Zürich the year after his death. His book, Die protestantischen Centraldogmen innerhalb der reformierten Kirche, appeared in Zürich in 2 volumes in 1854 and 1856.
