Sir Gore Ouseley’s treaty is not given in the collection of treaties in the published “Papers relating to Persia and Afghanistan.” In another article of this, which does not appear in the subsequent treaty, the amount of the allowances to be granted by the Shah to the British officers serving in Persia is laid down.
