Since the 13th of Nov. 1302, Raynold ad ann. Uterque ergo gladius est in potestate ecclesiæ, spiritualis scilicet et materialis. Both the one sword, and the other therefore, is, in the power of the church, the spiritual undoubtedly and the material also.
