Ex his doctoribus asseritur quod Papa non potest dispensare in primo gradu affinitatis. (Burnet's Reform, ii, Records, p. 8. Lond. 1841.) By these doctors it is asserted that the Pope is not able to grant a dispensation in the first degree of affinity.
