Dagamus ad nos veniens, non solum cibum nobiscum, sed nec in eodem hospitio quo vescebamur, sumere, noluit. (Beda, lib. ii, cap. iv.) Dagam coming to us, not only refused to eat with us, but even to take his food in the same house where we were entertained.
