The publication of this vase by Furtwaengler and Reichhold, Gr. Vasenmalerei, pls. 1–3, 11–13, with full discussion of subjects and technical details, has now superseded all previous illustrations. The only other complete ones were in Mon. dell’ Inst. iv. 54–8 (Reinach, i. p. 134–36) and Wiener Vorl. ii. pls. 1–5. The general view given in Plate XXVIII. is reproduced from the first-named work.
