Note 1469 — Chapter XI · WHITE-GROUND AND LATER FABRICS
Reading edition
E.g. B.M. F 150–6; Naples 1778, 1779, 1782, 1787, 3248; and others given by Patroni, Ceramica Antica, p. 77. A vase published by Inghirami (Vasi Fitt. 1–3) is thought by Engelmann to be the work of Python (Ann. dell’ Inst. 1874, p. 35). But this hardly seems likely. The B.M. vase F 155 is much more after his style.
