Half of the Town-of-Djī′gua people were at Łtā′na. The news had not yet reached them. And there there lived a man of Those-born-in-the-Ninstints-country11 who was unmarried. He had just won in gambling three sea-otter skins owned by a man of the Town-of-Djī′gua people. His (the latter’s) name was Alder.
