Note 41 — Exotics (continued 2)

From a tombstone of the Jōdo sect. The text is evidently from the Chinese version of the Amitâyur-Dhyâna-Sûtra (see Buddhist Mahâyâna Texts: “Sacred Books of the East”). It reads in the English version thus:—“In fine, it is your mind that becomes Buddha;—nay, it is your mind that is indeed Buddha.”
