Note 884 — VII. MISCELLANEA FROM THE NEAR EAST

I have drawn largely for this essay from the Wissenschaftliche Mittheilungen aus Bosnien und der Hercegovina, of which twelve volumes were published during the Austro-Hungarian occupation, and which throw new light on many points of Bosnian history. I have also visited all the chief places of historic interest in the occupied territory and the sandjak of Novibazar.
