“Habian terminos señalados de cuantas leguas habian de acudir á los mercados,” etc. Diego Duran, Historia de la Nueva España, Vol. ii, pp, 215, 217. Both the terms in the text are translated legua in Molina’s Vocabulary, so that it is probable that the resting places were something near two and a half to three miles apart.
