Tanner MSS., vol. lii., 1653-8, 41. This letter is addressed to Sheldon. There is another in the same volume from Dr. Ferne, lamenting that churchmen "were wanting to see what those in power would do, as if there could possibly be any expectation of advantage either from them," or from "delay." Both letters are printed in the Ecclesiastic, October, 1853.
