Note 389) — VI.

Reading edition

VII, 52, 56, 57, 74). Den 23sten April 1814 schrijft Johnson, Engelands commissaris in België, aan Lord Clancarty: „I presume the Dutch Government is thinking of sending some commissioner here, but I trust it will not make choice of Mr. Zuylen de Nyevelt, who will find some difficulty in getting rid of the disreputable connexions, he thought it for the interest of his Sovereign to form in this country”.
