Reading edition
Quiroga, as in the title, is a gross mistake. The Cardinal was D. Bartolomé Carranza y Miranda, archbishop of Toledo, who was really imprisoned and tried by the Spanish Inquisition. Quiroga (D. Gaspar) was not made archbishop of Toledo and cardinal until 1577.
