De Geer i. 608. Linné has made a mistake with regard to the Ichneumon here alluded to, in calling De Geer's saltatorious Ichneumon I. Muscarum, and referring for it to t. xxxii. f. 19, 20 of that author; whereas the Ichneumon that preys upon the aphidivorous flies does not jump, and is figured by De Geer 605. t. xxxiv. f. 26-29. The jumping one feeds on the larva of a Coccinella.
