Note 35 — Chapter Twenty-two
Reading edition
There hangs a portrait of my sister Dora, enlarged from a photograph of her, taken when she was about twelve, in the drawing-room of the beautiful house, Phil Schuyler, Junior’s, in East Sixty-sixth Street, New York.
It is a favorite story of my nephew’s, that the first day it was hung, Dora herself, who was on a shopping tour in New York for the week, entered the room and exclaimed, “What a lovely portrait of Mary Pickford.”
