I wonder if in the history of the presiding couples at the White House, from Dolley Madison who so brilliantly heightened the dark days of that régime to Angelica Van Buren, and on down through the devotion of the McKinleys, if one of them ever approached the beauty of the ideal love and compatibility that existed between my brother Dave and my sister Dora.
