The following sick list is taken from official documents compiled at Fernando Po. Of thirty invalids, sent up from the lowlands in November, 1863, there suffered from—

It must be observed that in all cases, except those of simple intermittents, the disease was contracted in the lowlands; moreover, that of sixty-three, the grand total, not a patient died.
