The numbers of the Posse Gymnasium Journal for February and May, 1920, contain portions of an autobiography by Nissen, covering his early years in Norway. He also published in 1891 an “ABC of the Swedish System of Educational Gymnastics” (Philadelphia, F. A. Davis).
