Mr. Bilguer having seen the good effects of this composition, inserts it according to the form he made use of; and without doubt, it is a very efficacious medicine: But it might be rendered much more simple without imparing its virtues; and simple medicines, in my opinion, are preferable on every occasion, but particularly so in hospitals.
