Among the Ep. of Bonifac. Mog. there is a council held under Carloman, king of France, which saith in the king's name, Necnon et illas venationes et sylvaticas vagationes cum canibus, servis Dei interdiximus. Similiter ut accipitres et falcones non habeant. And sure these are better than cards and dice, which yet some priests now use too much.
